HOW WE MOO
Yes, our cow is purple, but our business is green because we recycle, reuse and resell clothing. We hand-pick every item in our store, seeking out cool clothes and current styles in great condition with better brand-name labels like Gap, Gymboree, Ralph Lauren, Baby Lulu, Baby Nay, Little Mass, Heartstrings, Tea, and many more. For our mom’s-to-be we are looking for Motherhood, MiMi, Gap, Olian, Japanese Weekend, Michael Stars, Meet me in Miami, and more.
The Purple Cow makes it easy. Simply bring your clothing in a box, bin, or basket ( no trash bags please), and we will look through your items usually while you shop our store. Whatever items we are able to use we will pay you cash MOOney on the spot. Yes, cash, no waiting for your items to sell.
The Purple Cow also accepts items such as highchairs, pack and plays, excersausers, strollers, cribs and other equipment. We ask that they too have been recently purchased within the last three years, in great shape with working batteries.
The Purple Cow will
not accept any items that have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. If you are unsure if your item has been recalled, simply go to their website at

Purple Cow also recycles the clothes that don’t sell. We donate them to The Kidstore, a store created by the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. The Kidstore helps ensure that children in foster care have access to an ample selection of good-quality, fashionable clothing. For more information visit them at
